There is nothing quite like the bond between a Mama and her babe.
Truth be told, these mini sessions were one of my favorites to capture for so many reasons!
DECOR
I was extremely excited for the décor set up of this session! The egg chair that was used was a Target DREAM of mine! A few years ago I saw it in Target and fell in love! I would stop by for a “visit” each time I would make a Target trip. I never thought I’d actually be able to have one in real life (it was a little out of my shopping budget price range!)
Then, on my birthday that year, my husband took me out to a new coffee shop I was wanting to try (he’s so sweet) and send me this message to figure out what my birthday gift would be!
mid you couldn’t figure it out, all the capital letters spell our EGG CHAIR!
My family, his family, and he all went in together to get it for me for my birthday! I was sooo shocked and excited!
I have enjoyed the egg chair in bedroom for a few years (I was afraid of it getting dirty outside! Haha! I told you all I loved this chair, right?) and I decided it was time others should enjoy my beautiful chair!
so, I decided to dress her up for a session! it was a no brainer to me to use it for a Mommy & Me mini session because it’s pretty & Moms deserve pretty things!
MAMAS
I believe that EVERY Mama deserves a professional photo session with their babies
EVERY SINGLE YEAR!
Moms are generally the ones behind the camera- making sure that they capture every moment of their babies lives. Oftentimes, moms are in very few photos themselves.
As they look back on their lives, Moms want photos of themselves with their babies when they were still babies. Imagine having a series of photos that tell the story of your children growing up with you by their side as you grow up. The story of them growing is also the story of you growing. As they're growing taller, smarter, and more kind you are growing more loving, nurturing, and in wisdom as a parent.
Annual photos of you with your children will be something you'll want to look back on one day, but its something that they will want to look back on and will cherish as well! Maybe not today, but someday, when they're grown and begin to have children of their own, they'll want to look back on photos of them with their mom. They'll want to show their children how their parents and grandparents grew through the years.
You can't pause time at each sweet year of their lives, but you CAN stop time in a photograph. a memory isfrozen in time for lifetimes to come.
THAT'S what a Mommy & Me Mini Session is all about.
